A house of scent should be open to everyone. Here is where we stand, and what we are still working on.

1. Our commitment

We want every part of this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, use magnification, or rely on captions and reduced motion.

We treat accessibility as part of the craft rather than a compliance exercise. It is considered when we design a page, not audited after the fact.

2. The standard we work to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the internationally recognised standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

3. What we have done

• Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
• Menus, drawers and dialogs announce themselves to screen readers and return focus where you left off
• Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast requirements
• Product photography carries descriptive alternative text
• Headings follow a logical order so a screen reader can navigate by structure
• Animations respect the reduce motion setting in your operating system
• Layouts reflow to 400% zoom without loss of content or horizontal scrolling
• Form fields have visible labels and clear, specific error messages

4. If something is not working

If you meet a barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us. We treat it as a fault to be fixed, not a complaint to be managed.

We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and to give you a substantive answer within 10 working days.

5. Another way to shop

If any part of the site remains difficult, we will complete your order with you directly. Contact us by email or telephone and we will take you through the collection, arrange payment securely, and place the order on your behalf.
